Winnie The Pooh can always provide a warm tug at everyone’s heartstrings. In fact, one of A.A. Milne’s quotes is “Promise me you’ll always remember; you’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” This quote, among many more of Winnie the Pooh’s musings, reflects how our students and you, their parents, can #choosetobesupported.
We also understand that you have chosen a much more difficult path as we know the dedication and strength that goes into schooling your child/children at home. As a way to support you, IEM Schools take very seriously the guiding principles that our organization values. One of those guiding principles is, that “we continually improve the quality of everything we do as we serve our co-workers, students, their parents and the public”. Here are just three ways that we at IEM can provide that support:
Our school has implemented many additional values for our students each year. For example, last month we literally “rolled out” the Mobile Science Labs in an effort to provide amazing Art and Science in the Park activities for your students. See one of our school websites for more information.
We also have committed to providing parent forums on an ongoing basis to get feedback as to how you, the parents, see the support needed for your child. The feedback that we have received has been invaluable for us as we continually improve our processes to better support our families.
Our schools are designed with various departments such as curriculum and guidance and student support services which all play a part in supporting our students in the way they need to be supported. It is our hope that these support options will allow your child to know what Winnie the Pooh believes….that they are smart and strong!
